We have become fans of Karcher. Here is their latest offering, the K3.91MD Plus.
The unit is upright during operation. The K3.91MD Plus weighs in at 14kg with the following dimensions L: 287mm x W: 336mm x H: 837mm, making it easy to manoeuvre and store. This unit has its own detergent tank. As is the norm for a product of this standard it comes with details such as a fine water filter before the pump to protect it from damage and a pressure overload valve. The K3.91MD Plus possesses 6 metres of quality high pressure hose giving it a more than acceptable reachfor a unit of this size. The unit also includes an ergonomic trigger gun making it comfortable to use even for extended periods. Its features like this that make it stand above its piers. Power to the pump is provided by the high-performance, maintenance-free 1700W induction electric motor.
The Karcher K3.91MD Plus gives a 120 bar maximum output pressure . It has a water throughput of 420 litres per hour to quickly tackle stubborn dirt and stains. Accessories: garden hose adapter, accessory soft bag, Vario lance and Dirtblaster. Water up to 40 degC can be used, though the cleaning performance with mains water is all that’s needed. The N-Cor-Pump, cylinder head of tough polyfiber-plastic give outstanding efficiency, low noise level and weight. An additional valuable feature is the auto start / stop meaning the power is only actuated when the trigger is pulled . This saves resources, money and lengthening the longevity of the unit.
For us, this is a good value middle level, power washer. For a middle level machine the K3.91MD Plus has many stand out features and enough power for most domestic tasks such as cleaning the boat, driveway, patio, garden tools etc. The washer does have some nice touches.
