The K4.99M is one of the latest pressure cleaner from Karcher. Because of the rising use of high pressure washers many domestic cleansing tasks have become so much easier.
This washer has 6(m) of quality high pressure hose giving it a good reach. Input water up to 40 degrees Celsius is allowed, but generally the cleaning performance with mains water is all that’s required. The electric motor is rated at 1900 watt. It is a maintenance free induction motor that bodes well for its life span. As is the norm for a machine of this standard it comes with details such as a fine mesh filter before the pump to protect it from debris and a high-pressure overload relief. Yet another useful aspect of this machine is the auto start / stop so the only started when required , thus saving power, water, chemicals and extending the life of the machine. Instead of a chemical tank this model comes with a hose which draws detergent directly from the container. The chemical can be applied in reduced pressure mode.
Accessories include a Dirtblaster, Vario lance, 10 detergent cleaning tablets, Rotary Wash Brush and garden hose adapter. The unit has a 130 bar maximum output pressure and a water throughput of 400l/hr allowing you to tackle the most demanding household cleaning duties. The pump is Karchers N-Cor-Pump. Its lightweight with a hard polyfiber cylinder head giving low noise output and great efficiency. The unit, which seems to be the norm, stands vertically during operation and weighs 14.5kg with the following dimensions L: 287mm x W: 336mm x H: 837mm, perfect where storage is limited. We neither like or dislike the product, but its passable. In summary, this is an acceptable value middle level, power cleaner. The washer does have some nice touches.
